Kubusi Safaris: Where Heritage Meets Adventure

Founded in 1998, Kubusi Safaris is proudly owned and operated by the Williamson family — James and Megan, together with their children Roxanne and Rory.

James, born in the Transkei, grew up fishing along the rugged Wild Coast. With a background in nature conservation and years of experience at the Ciskei Parks Board, he left in 1998 to follow his passion and establish Kubusi Safaris, where he continues to serve as a licensed Professional Hunter (PH) and outfitter.

Megan, originally from Zimbabwe, is a qualified nursing sister who ensures that every detail — from logistics and staffing to client care — runs seamlessly behind the scenes.

Their children, raised in the great outdoors of South Africa, share the same love for nature and adventure. Roxanne is a qualified PH and FGASA guide, leading the hunting operations with expertise and precision. Rory, a professional trainer, supports clients worldwide with fitness preparation designed for the demands of African hunting.

Set against the breathtaking landscapes of the Eastern Cape, Kubusi Safaris offers more than just a hunt — it’s an authentic African experience rooted in tradition, ethical hunting practices, and conservation.
